HK CS, I've never used, but I have ordered parts for trigger conversions, and they were great to deal with. HK mags are flawless, works of art made by elves, but they cost more.Ĭustomer service, I have used SIG CS and it was pretty good (bad that I had to). Mix and match till you find something you like.Ĭost for the pistols are close, but I think you can get the P30 a little cheaper. The "batman grip" is customize-able for the individual shooter with multiple possibilities based on 6 sideplates and 3 back-straps. I hands down prefer the HK LEM to any DA/SA trigger, and the P30 is lighter and thinner for carrying.Įrgonomics, I find the ergonomics of the P30 superior to the SIG. Plan on getting the P30 with the LEM, or plan on carrying it, and my vote changes. The short reset trigger is oustanding.Īccuracy is about a wash, reliability I'd have to give the nod to HK, just because I have experienced issues with SIGs, but never an HK. The SIG does IMHO have a better DA/SA trigger than the HK out of the factory. ![]() HK V3 (DA/SA), I'd have to give the nod to the 229 and although I own a couple I'm not a SIG fan at all.īased on your criteria of "as a bedside gun" most of the negatives I find with the 229 (or any SIG P series) are muted, that being weight and width (and DA/SA). On what trigger you plan on getting the HK P30 in.
